LM-2500 Engine Test Cell Upgrade

The Naval Air Depot at NAS North Island, San Diego, CA awarded SYTRONICS, Inc. a $900K+ contract to upgrade their obsolete LM-2500 Engine Test Cell to a state-of-the-art gas turbine test facility. In addition to the upgrade of existing equipment, a Digital Fuel Control (DFC) System will be added in order to comply with the Navy's efforts to replace the LM-2500 hydro-mechanical fuel controls with a more reliable system. The proposed upgrade will consist of all design, demolition, acquisition, integration, installation, and testing tasks necessary to successfully develop automated testing of two models of LM-2500 Gas Generators and one Power Turbine with DFC.
